Singer and actress and writer Jana Kramer rose to fame through television, where she was part of the crew of One Tree Hill as Alex in its final three seasons. Her first few releases as a country singer appeared on the episodes of the series helping her debut album of the same name in the top 20 on the Billboard 200. Thirty One, the follow-up album from album from 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. As she ended the decade with a performance on Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, she released the self-doubting Voices. The girl was born and raised in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised on country music. She would later be pursuing a recording career. However, she began her professional life acting as an actress, appearing on screen in the 2002 indie horror film Dead/Undead while still in her teens. Over the years, she appeared on several shows including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the part of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights the 2nd season (2007-2008). Kramer later appeared on television as Portia Ranson in 90210 from 2008 to 2009 and Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. Kramer was added to the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre where she stayed up until the finale in 2012, which was half way in. Jana Kramer Kramer, during her time as Alex Dupre, on One Tree Hill signed with Elektra Records. She debuted contemporary country song I Won't Give Up in a one of the 2011 One Tree Hill episode. In 2012, it came out via Jana Kramer - her first album. It reached number five among Billboard Top Country Albums. Kramer remained focused on her music career without quitting acting, and was a part of films which enticed her fans, such as Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. Kramer's second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of 2015. The Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy, and her duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed together helped the album reach #3 at the top of the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the chart for country albums. Two months on Dancing with the Stars 23rd episode ended up with her finishing in fourth place. That same year she made a splash with an adult contemporary track with Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
