Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue ellis-taylor, actress, American stage and screen actress and producer. Her most well-known work is as an actress in films for her role on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She is a graduate of the BA in African-American Studies and an MFA from Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue was born in the United States and is an American actor as well as a producer and director. She is employed in film and television. Her career in acting began at the theatre. She then appeared in various television series, independent films and mainstream movies. Her most well-known roles were as Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as on BET's epic The Book of Negroes. The series both received praise from critics, and she also took home a variety of awards. She made her professional acting debut as Ariel on the stage in The Tempest in 1995. On Broadway she was a part of the cast on stage in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. When it comes to film, she is best known for her roles in films like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. Her role as a regular in ABC's drama police series High Incident earned her praises.
